Feature: combined search of Lemmy/PieFed/Mbin communities

Would be cool to be able to search all communities at once instead of separately. Maybe add it to the dropdown as "Threadiverse Explorer" or something

Been thinking something similar lately. fedxplorer.net is earmarked for this.

I was also thinking about building a more active crawler that could somehow listen for events coming from the fediverse.

I think this project has kinda outgrown Lemmy, however please keep in mind that it's still the majority of this project, the other projects simple do not have the sheer size of Lemmy (yet).

I think I'd make an offspin of this project, as the current project is centered around only Lemmy, I don't think I'd be willing to build in global search as a thing in this project.

It would be nice to include NodeBB and Discourse communities too. The number of projects compatible with Lemmy is increasing
