The feature request
I would like to be able to be able to explore a whole collection of reports at once.
There are often multiple reports on the same datasource. Whenever something changes in that source, all reports need to be modified.
It would be nice if PBI could show the usage of a column or measure through multiple reports without having to load each report separately.
Proposed solution
The 'inspect report' file selector should allow multiple files.
PBIExplorer will assume every report is linked to the same data model.
All used tables/columns/measures are shown in the Data Model Explorer.
The Report Inspector - Details - Wireframe preview gets an additional hierarchy where one can select the report.
The table underneath gets an extra column with reportname.
This addition will allow one to quickely see how, where and if a column or measure is used in any of the reports.
