Could Sweep remember repository conventions across coding sessions? #4185

Description

@memcodeoff

Hi, I’m Vivek Gupta, Founder & CEO at MemCode. Sweep is an AI coding assistant for JetBrains, where agents repeatedly work inside the same repositories and teams. Durable project memory could preserve repository conventions, preferred implementation patterns, prior decisions, and lessons from accepted or rejected changes.

Would Sweep consider an optional MemCode adapter? A first integration could recall project-scoped context before a task and write only approved outcomes after a change, while keeping credentials, retention, deletion, and local/self-hosted behavior explicit. This would complement code search and IDE context rather than replace them.

This is a technical integration proposal; any partnership or optional 10% revenue-share discussion can be handled separately through the appropriate channel. I’d be happy to prepare a focused example or RFC before implementation.
