Hi, I’d like to work on this issue.

My plan:

• Detect if the session is Wayland (XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland).
• If Wayland, gracefully skip Wnck-dependent code when screen is None.
• Add a warning message so users know Wnck features are disabled under Wayland.

Testing:

• Simulate Wayland by setting XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland and confirm no crash.
• Mock Wnck.Screen.get_default() to return None and verify the code handles it.
• Ensure normal behavior continues under X11.

Once verified, I’ll open a PR with the fix.
