Where to start contributing to Music Blocks v4?

I read the repository and noticed references to Music Blocks v4 in the ideas list.

After reading the idea description, I’m still not sure what the next step would be for someone who wants to start contributing to this project.

Could you point me to any documentation, design discussions, or roadmap related to Music Blocks v4?

I’m interested in contributing and would like to better understand the design direction before getting started.

Hi, I’m Suyash, a 2nd year CSE student.
I recently submitted a GSoC 2026 proposal for Music Blocks Maintenance and I’m currently exploring the codebase.
Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll check out the Music Blocks v4 repository and its open issues. Also, since my proposal focuses on Music Blocks v3 maintenance, I wanted to ask if there are any beginner-friendly areas or specific components in v3 where I can start contributing.
I have experience with Python and JavaScript and I’m currently learning more about testing and CI/CD workflows.
I’d really appreciate any guidance.
