Allow pasting player data on iPadOS + Safari

I use an iPad with a keyboard dock with Datacore frequently, and the current version of Datacore no longer allows me to copy/paste player data, the only option is to upload a saved data file. I would appreciate having the option to copy/paste data again, as saving and uploading is a somewhat more tedious process than copy/paste, and my iPad+keyboard can easily copy/paste the data.

I have tried toggling “Request Desktop site” in Safari but it does not make a difference.

Hi there. Yeah, that was a tough decision to make. But, for consistency, and to reduce confusion, we removed the option to copy and paste data from mobile devices, generally, as many people with larger profile data easily exceed the copy/paste buffer space of mobile operating systems.

I can investigate bringing it back for the iPad, if it turns out to have a larger copy buffer. But I personally have an iPad I used to test out the functionality and found that it would not correctly copy and paste the data. And it's possible that at some future date, even if one were to be able to successfully copy and paste data on the mobile platforms, that their accounts would grow to the point that the copy would start to fail. Ultimately, we found that this would probably confound the user more than just requiring them to download and upload data, across the board.
