hi, I have two questions.

1. Since I can't find it in the docs... What is the expected behavior for such setting? Will all the libraries be processed or none?

2. What happens to BIF file for the Movie / TV Series which gets removed from disk (and Plex library)? Do the preview file stay there or gets deleted automatically by Plex?

1. What happens when no libraries are checked?

When no libraries are selected, all libraries are processed. The checkboxes act as an opt-in filter -- if nothing is checked, no filter is applied, so everything runs.

I've updated the UI text to make this clearer: "If none are selected, all libraries are processed."

This was updated in the dev image.

2. What happens to BIF files when media is removed from Plex?

This tool does not automatically clean up orphaned BIF files. The BIF files live inside Plex's internal bundle directory structure (<plex_config>/Media/localhost/.bundle/Contents/Indexes/index-sd.bif). When media is removed from your library, the corresponding .bundle directory (including the BIF) may be cleaned up by Plex's built-in maintenance operations.

To clean up stale bundles (and the BIF files inside them), periodically run Plex's built-in maintenance from Settings > Manage > Troubleshooting:

• Empty Trash -- removes database entries for deleted media
• Clean Bundles -- deletes orphaned .bundle directories from disk

Running both of those should remove any leftover BIF files for media that no longer exists in your library.
