Slowdown over time?

Not sure if anyone else has noticed and figured I would ask. I've been generating for my entire library so it's taking a couple weeks but I've restarted the service a couple times to tweak settings and such. It seems like the service runs significantly faster for an hour or so and then slows down dramatically. I've checked disk I/o and caching but can't really identify anything obvious.

I'm running on Unraid with an intel arc a310 and igpu on my amd cpu at 6 gpu threads and 0 cpu. The first batch of shows seem to go at 50x+ speeds and then after a bit everything slows down to less than 10x. I figured it was the new media on my cache pool but have since proved that theory wrong.

Any ideas or suggestions? Not a big deal since I'll be done in a few days at this point but it got me curious.

My comment must not have sent, I did some logging and it seemed to be when a show was all on one disk and too many workers were on the GPU at one time trying to pull from the same disk. So ultimately it was an IO issue but fixed by lowering the amount of GPU/CPU workers so I would not hit IO limits of my pool.
