Link to pogo-pins?

Hello,

I've converted your KICAD-files to Gerber-files (I'm quite new to PCB-design so sorry if this doesn't make sense) and uploaded them to JLCPCB.

Now I want them to solder the pushpins to the PCB and I created a BOM-file from your KICAD-files and selected that they should pick out the parts since I couldn't find any pogo-pins that matched:
P50-B1-16mm

However they replied that:
"We have reviewed the BOM file you provided and noticed that the footprint and comment information for some components is incomplete. "

This is my BOM-file I sent:

Could you possibly link the ones you used for your project?
I found these ones:
P50-B1 Dia 0.68mm Length 16mm 75g Spring Test Probe Pogo Pin
which I guess should work? They are "P50-B1" and "16mm".

I think I can help you with that :)
Pogopins are really a pain. I did have the same struggle than you, because no supplier did accept pogopins from aliexpress or amazon.
Finally I was able to create a soldering project with pcbway.com

The only pogopins I found that they accepted were these ones:

I decided to go with JLCPCB and ordered the pogo-pins separately and already have a RPi Pico 2W so "just" have the soldering left.

Totally new to soldering and don't really understand how to solder the pogo-pins to the PCB but thinking about delving into it quite soon.

Just wanted to update:

I have an order with PCBWay which is currently under review.
Appreciate you providing the files.
The changes I made was to make the surface finish to "HASL lead free" and I also selected that the assembly should cover both sides instead of only the top one.

Thanks for the Update. I think yours should pass aswell. PCBWay did a very good job. In my case they did test every single pogo pin, before sending the sniffer out!
Assembly both sides is required if you put the row on the back like I did for the usage of breakout pins!

Here is another picture how mine finally looked like:

PS: I did not succeed with the SPI Version of the sniffer. Maybe I can send you one if you're interessted for testing this aswell

Ok this is strange! The assembly cost seems to be much higher than in my order...
The only explanation I have for this is, that I've got a discount from them for their assembly service.
I just checked the website and it seems that this kind of promotion is still available and you should get the assembly also for -/+ 30$ if you buy not more than 20 pieces...

I would try to ask them if you can get this promotion...

does it have any difference if the 6 pin headers behind the 10 pogo pins are facing upward and glued below or glued upward and facing below? does it make any difference?

First of all it's an optional pin header and it's not mandatory. You can solder it or leave it. You can add the pin headers on the front or on the backside, it should make no difference.
For the lpc variant I did add the additional pin headers just to have the possibility to use it also on a non lenovo device. But don't ask me any questions about that because I did only test with the same lenovo carbon x1 gen2 device that the author used in his demo.

For the SPI variant I used a SOIC8 - SOP8 Testclip and my target device was a lenovo T470. Finally I was able to get the VMK, but it took me many tries.
