Hi everyone, my name is Ivan! I am a Mechatronics Engineer and a Software Engineer passionate about bridging the gap between high-level languages and bare-metal hardware.

Currently, my main focus is PyMCU, an open-source, experimental AOT compiler that translates a safe subset of Python directly into pure, highly optimized Assembly with Zero-Cost Abstractions (ZCA) for microcontrollers. Alongside this, I build low-level hardware emulators like AVR8Sharp and RP2040Sharp.

The concept for PyMCU lived in my mind for 5 years. Recently, advanced AI tooling helped dramatically accelerate its development, allowing me to finally bring the first Alpha to life. To maintain access to these resources and keep the project's momentum going, I am seeking to reach a community-funding goal of $300 USD/month to cover operational costs.

If you believe in the vision of making microcontroller programming more transparent and accessible, consider joining me as a sponsor! However, please don't feel guilty if you don't. There are plenty of other ways to help—starring the repositories, testing early builds, or simply spreading the word. Every little bit helps and makes a huge difference!

My goal is to reach $300 a month to cover the advanced AI tooling and operational costs that brought PyMCU to life. Hitting this milestone ensures I can maintain access to these resources and keep the project's momentum alive, allowing me to focus on stabilizing the Alpha release, squashing bugs, and expanding Zero-Cost Abstraction support to architectures like the RP2040.
