I primarily build software to solve real problems in my own environment. Whenever a project proves useful and reliable, I publish it as open source to give something back to the community that has helped me throughout the time.

My projects focus on practical automation and integration rather than experimental prototypes. They bridge different systems, simplify complex workflows, and aim to make modern smart homes easier to use.

While my testing environment is naturally limited to the hardware and software I own, I place a strong emphasis on:

  • intuitive user experience
  • reliability and robustness
  • backward compatibility
  • maintainable, well-structured code

I don’t aim to build commercial products. Instead, I strive to create tools that are dependable enough to run unattended in everyday life.
