Hi, I'm Joseph, better known online as JosephScript.

By day I'm a full-stack staff engineer working on payment orchestration services. Before that I spent a decade building and shipping an AI-powered research platform used by Fortune 500 teams, and a stretch before that leading engineering teams across fintech and entertainment.

Nights and weekends are mine, and that's where the open-source work happens. Things like claude-speak, pop-n-lock-theme-zed, fastify-permissions-policy, and zed-openai-proxy all started as tools I wanted for myself, then cleaned up and shared. I'm also building an indie game solo, slowly, for fun.

None of this pays for itself. Sponsorship goes straight back into the time it takes to maintain these projects and keep new ones coming, instead of letting them go quiet once the itch that started them fades.
