Great idea for a mod, perfect for playing on 1.8 servers on modern versions. However, I have two suggestions to make.
Firstly, support for left-handed players would be nice. At first I thought the mod was broken until I tried changing my skin settings to right-handed. This is not a big issue but would be a good addition.
Secondly, I would really like the ability to enable/disable the mod in ModMenu. I want to be able to turn it on for playing on 1.8 servers (or just for fun) but turn it off quickly if shields are being used. Right now, I have to close the game and enable the whole mod, at which point I would just load up 1.8.9 proper.
If these two things (but especially the second) are added, I can finally stick to just one instance of Minecraft and leave the old 1.8 behind. Thank you.
