[Bug]: Next track does not auto-play

Bug Description

Looks like this issue has been brought up before and marked as solved, but I'm encountering the same one: the next track doesn't play after the current one finishes. I have to manually click Play.

Expected Behavior

Next track plays when current one finishes and/or when you skip to the next track.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have playlist queued
2. Play track
   Either:
3. Allow current track to end
   or
4. Skip to next track

macOS Version

macOS 26 (Tahoe)

seeing the same issue in 0.12.0

I wonder if PR #248 implementing gapless playback could end up fixing this as a side effect, since its redoing the way the next song is loaded
