Hey, just thought I'd ask here to see if anyone might have some insight. I've had this pcb made up, and gone ahead and made up the files for Doom Fusion as per the info out there. My files work perfectly in Ares as a starting point. So wanting to make a dedicated pcb/cart for this game, I byteswapped the rom file, and wrote the file to an M27C322 eprom.
I then put the PCB into my 32X system (and the accompanying disc), and the game does indeed boot. I get the intro video playing, and I can choose what parts of the game to play etc, all good. What is wrong though, is that the sound is completely borked - missing audio, noise playing, some music will play, some won't, no gunshots etc.
It's not the files as they are fine for Ares, it's definitely hardware related. Is the PCB at fault here, in that I need to swap lanes or something maybe?
