Should I use Proportional or Direct for a mini-split heat pump serving a single room. And same question for a house using a central heat pump system. |

Hi, in my similar situation (mini-split AC only, inverter style) I've found it works a lot better to set it to direct and let the mini-split manage how much it needs to ramp up or down. I'm using proportional only on radiator valves. |
