Import Schedule and Operation mode from Ecobee Thermostat

Would be nice to be able to import and sync comfort settings and equipment mode from Ecobee Thermostat.

Sync with Ecobee comfort settings as schedules and automatically change climate mode based on current settings.

Adding some use cases that broaden this beyond Ecobee-specific syncing into a general preset control feature.

Why presets matter

RoomMind currently controls climate devices via set_hvac_mode and set_temperature, but many thermostat platforms (Ecobee, Nest, Honeywell, Tado) use presets as their primary control mechanism. Presets bundle multiple settings together — heat/cool targets, fan mode, hold behavior, comfort profiles — that can't be replicated by setting temperature alone.

Use cases for RoomMind-driven preset selection

1. Seasonal switching — Automatically select a heating-optimized or cooling-optimized preset based on outdoor temperature or forecast conditions, without manual intervention when seasons change
2. Time-of-day — Different presets for morning, daytime, evening, and overnight (e.g., quieter fan profiles at night)
3. Presence-based — Switch to an away/eco preset when nobody is home, comfort preset on arrival
4. Vacation — Hold a minimal preset during extended absence
5. Schedule-driven — Let RoomMind schedule blocks specify a preset name instead of (or in addition to) a target temperature
6. External automation — Allow an input_select or similar entity to drive preset selection, so any external trigger can set it (per Allow climate mode to be controlled via external entity (input_select / automation) #62)

Suggested approach

Rather than importing presets from a specific thermostat brand, a more flexible approach would be letting RoomMind set presets as an action based on configurable rules:

• Per-room or per-zone preset rules with conditions (outdoor temp thresholds, time, presence)
• A default/fallback preset when no condition matches
• Ability to call climate.set_preset_mode in addition to the existing set_hvac_mode and set_temperature

This would work with any thermostat that supports presets, not just Ecobee. Combined with #62 (external climate mode entity) and #53 (schedule mode selection), it would give RoomMind full thermostat lifecycle control.

+1 for me

I think presets are the biggest feature holding me back from going all in on Roommind.

Right now I like my Default / Away / Sleep presets on my Ecobee, so I rather use those whenever possible, instead of just holding a temperature. I don’t necessarily need schedule import since I don’t hold a consistent schedule, I just switch between those three modes based on what I’m doing (mostly automatically with HA).
