how to install dump1090 ? ( sudo apt install dump1090-mutability ) wont work for me . |

When starting 'calculate passes' on Satellites, comes back and says 'Error: skyfield library not installed. Run: pip install skyfield'. Running on pi5 debian and skyfield is installed. Not sure what is throwing the error. Skyfield is installed... |

Can you try apt install python3-skyfield please?

That solved it. It's an apt install, not pip. Thanks Smittix. good stuff you have going on here. Also, I think there maybe alot of decoder info that can be gained by following the tinygs project. They have parsers for satellite data already figured out. |

Please take a look at the install guide and use the setup script this should build it from source |
