Big Distance loses points

eps is measured in km, 300 sounds like a lot on Earth?

Could you please provide some steps to reproduce?

I would also check accuracy of distance calculation functions for such large distances. They might show big difference with precise ones, as they're optimized for relatively small regions. You can try changing them to precise functions at performance cost.
