Exporting to multiple documents rather than one

Hello I was wondering if this tool can be used to export data to individual files. For example I ran

es-export-bulk --url http://localhost:9200 --file C:\elasticsearch\data.json --index metadata_v1

And of course this put all of my data into one .json file. The index however has a number of seperate entries, would there be a way to export this to individual files rather than one file?
