This could be adding a named net ONLY in Scope Properties
or better yet, also include it as a custom label on the scope.
The label should have the same color as the trace.
This way a "labeled node" would be easily understood, and adding a new trace to the scope could be done inside the "Scope Properties" panel. (assuming one exists).
