Why no PIP package?

I am new to python and came across this repo while searching for a good ffmpeg wrapper in python.

This one is better than all packages I found on pip. So just wondering why this is not distributed via pip?

Is there any technical reason for this?

You can easy install it with setup.py
And even more: current version can't detect video length if the file was broken (while it's still playable).
To fix it loop frames and find the last one.
