Website is SUPER slow at resolving a URL for me. Accessing the raw URL is instant

I am trying to access the below URL. It eventually resolves, but after waiting for a minute. (same with the main site gitcdn.xyz actually)
https://gitcdn.xyz/NanoAdblocker/NanoFilters/master/NanoMirror/NanoDefender.txt

It resolves to: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NanoAdblocker/NanoFilters/master/NanoMirror/NanoDefender.txt

I have tried switching DNS's and flushing the DNS cache to make sure it's not a DNS issue. I have also tried using a paid VPN service. Even restarted my browser and tried a different browser. Same problem.

Hoping you can shed some light on the issue.
