Decouple rendering of text part references from display of text part content #64

Description

@jacobwegner
  • For Read Homer, we implemented the book / line citation scheme:

1.1
1.2
1.3

  • For Digital Sira, we didn't show text part references. We styled things a "line" at a time (which usually ended up being paragraphs):

I'm baby ugh gentrify paleo everyday carry gochujang hoodie. Humblebrag activated charcoal jean shorts, kitsch hashtag selvage cray umami asymmetrical. Everyday carry locavore sriracha, crucifix copper mug kombucha fit. Fit tattooed lumbersexual asymmetrical tacos vexillologist, ramps skateboard affogato food truck tumblr mustache bruh. Cray butcher godard shaman sus. Mlkshk craft beer typewriter leggings iPhone artisan beard semiotics 90's palo santo bodega boys.

Master cleanse cronut distillery, chicharrones bushwick cardigan ethical letterpress helvetica biodiesel photo booth edison bulb. Art party butcher you probably haven't heard of them, narwhal freegan occupy iceland affogato taxidermy franzen fanny pack neutra direct trade big mood activated charcoal. Schlitz yr scenester banh mi put a bird on it edison bulb DSA shabby chic bushwick semiotics etsy quinoa celiac shoreditch ascot. Portland YOLO glossier lyft.

For things like the Bellum Alexandrinum, we want to cite the seg elements, but render in paragraphs:

This would also be useful for things like poetry where we may have caesuras or half-lines within the citation scheme; it might also help us to improve our resolution / display of "front matter".

Given:

1. CHAPTER 1
How @jacobwegner demonstrated that front matter is currently omitted from display
1.1 This is the first line
1.2 This is the second line

We currently would resolve "1.1-1.2" (the lowest citable nodes):

1.1 This is the first line
1.2 This is the first line

But we really want to do something more like:

1. CHAPTER 1
How @jacobwegner demonstrated that front matter is currently omitted from display
1.1 This is the first line
1.2 This is the second line
