[Bug]: can't turn off the flashlight of my tablet

Bug Description

All permission granted to Essentials (incl Shizuku). Flashlight is forced to be on no matter what I do. It can't be turned off from the Quick settings tile of my device or the notification of Essentials.

Steps to Reproduce

I don't exactly know. It just happened. I cant turn off the flashlight unless I force quit or uninstall Essentials. Is it a persistente notification issue? Light sensor issue?

Expected Behavior

Essentials shouldn't be blocking or overiding my manual control over the flashlight.

Hi! Can you try turning off flashlight brightness controls with vol buttons or button remap to see if there's any change? This is very weird behavior.

Might be specific to this device model which I never heard of

Mapped vol down long press while Screen off to toggle flashlight. The flashlight turns off for a split second then immediately forced on again. The exact same behavior when trying to turn off the flashlight from Essentials' notification that controls flashlight intensity.

Edit: flashlight intensity control is "non responsive", it's fixed at 100% in the notification and at zero in the pop up window after pressing the quick setting tile (both the notification and qs belong to Essentials). My device doesn't have a native intensity control for the flashlight.

Edit: Maybe I misunderstood you, so here's how I configured essentials. Same behavior. Also, a side note, I can't restore my navigation bar. Neither after rebooting, toggling the settings nor uninstalling Essentials.
