I think this type of thing would need an RFC. I don't know if the team has capacity to add or maintain such a thing. (Might be easier to ask on Zulip to kick off a proper discussion) |

Mostly automatic formatting of code is a good thing, but occasionally I find myself being annoyed by it in very specific instances.
I went looking for a way to adjust some of the auto-format options on a per-line or per-block basis, but all I can find is
#![rustfmt::skip]which turns off formatting entirely for a region.What I hoped to be able to do was something like
#[rustfmt::override(max_width=120)]or#[rustfmt::override(fn_single_line = true)]to just locally adjust one of the formatting parameters and allow all other formatting to progress as configured.Is this possible via another mechanism or would it be a valid feature request?
