No entry is created in the Location Services list when run

Environment

• macOS 26.5.1 (25F80)

Problem

Running the tool does not create an entry in the Location Services access list, and no permission prompt appears.

What I tried

• Ran it in Terminal and Warp, with sudo — no entry was added
  to the Location Services access list.
• Ran it inside an app that already has location permission
  (Visual Studio Code) — still no permission prompt, and no entry.

For comparison

• Other CLI tools, e.g. corelocationcli,
  do create a location-access entry in the Location Services list.

Thanks for the report and especially the corelocationcli comparison — that pointed straight at the cause.

Root cause: request_location_permission() created a CLLocationManager, called requestWhenInUseAuthorization(), then polled authorizationStatus() in a sleep() loop. Two things were missing that CoreLocation needs:

1. No delegate — CoreLocation delivers authorization changes only to a delegate.
2. No serviced run loop — the prompt is presented and the Location Services entry is registered only while the owning thread pumps its run loop. A plain sleep() starves it, so no prompt and no entry ever appeared. corelocationcli works precisely because it runs a real run loop.

Fix (3ccc28b):

• Added a minimal CLLocationManager delegate (kept as a strong reference).
• Replaced the sleep() wait with NSRunLoop.currentRunLoop().runUntilDate_(...), so CoreLocation can surface the prompt and fire the callback.
• Added a warning when running as root: macOS never shows the Location Services prompt to a sudo process, so AirJack should be started without sudo (it elevates only the capture backend when needed).

Please git pull and run it without sudo from your terminal. You should now get the permission prompt and an entry under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. If it still does not appear, please paste the log lines showing the authorization_status value and I will dig further before closing.

Reopening: the fix was auto-closed by the commit reference, but I would like to keep this open until the prompt/entry is confirmed on a real device (run without sudo). Will close once verified.
