CodeLab Project Roadmap

Welcome to the future of CodeLab! We have ambitious plans to grow this project into a comprehensive global learning ecosystem.

🗺️ Phases of Growth

Phase 1: Foundation (Current)

• Standardize 26 core technology directories.
• Create structured lesson plans with 10 key parts.
• Build local CI/CD automated linting configurations.
• Write templates for contributor issue management.

Phase 2: Curriculum Expansion

• Write detailed worksheets, interactive notebooks (Jupyter), and quizzes.
• Add visual illustrations, syntax flowcharts, and architecture diagrams.
• Build beginner-friendly command-line playgrounds for learning Git and Docker.

Phase 3: Platform & Tooling

• Build a documentation website (e.g., using Docusaurus or Next.js) built directly from our Markdown structure.
• Implement browser-based interactive coding challenges.
• Build an automated translation pipeline supporting Spanish, French, Hindi, and Mandarin.

Phase 4: Community & Mentorship

• Launch a global student-ambassador program.
• Create teacher guidelines, allowing CodeLab to be used directly in school computer science curricula.
