What do you think about adding whisper-overlay to hydenix ? It has its own flake.nix file and instructions for waybar integration. Looks like we need to convert it to Hyde's format.

Or another solution enabling speed-to-text recognition ?
Even if you decide that this is outside the scope of the project, I'm interested to know if you have a favorite solution/setup for that (would like to have a fun vibe coding experience).

@AdrienLemaire write the module as per docs in json using home.file. then make a custom "fork" of hydes waybar config.ctl including that module. waybar modules are written in jsonc.

you would follow the rest of the nixos installation instructions. keep hydenix.hm.waybar enabled

Actually waybar has broken since I tried nix flake update hydenix and nixos-rebuild earlier today, I need to figure out why and how to solve it. hyde-shell reload doesn't fix it, and I can't find any relevant logs about it.

could be erroneous files from the old waybar, check home-manager logs and it complains about backups in waybar just delete the folder and rebuild

sorry about that, home-manager doesn't like change 😅

yeah, I had already done that since backup errors prevented the nixos-rebuild.

Maybe I fixed it after removing the ~/.config/waybar/ dir and readding the missing theme.css file once the directory got recreated (I have no idea why theme.css was missing 🤣)

im also including programs.home-manager.enable as this will allow home-manager to show errors on nixos-rebuild
