What problem are you trying to solve?
Brows3 supports Favorites for files and folders, but there is currently no
convenient way to favorite the root of an S3 bucket.
Users who open buckets through direct s3:// paths have to rely on open tabs
or manually enter the URI again.
Proposed solution
Add a favorite action for the bucket root:
- Display a star button in the bucket header.
- Allow users to add or remove the current bucket root from Favorites.
- Reuse the existing Favorites page for quick access.
- Optionally expose the same action next to buckets listed in the sidebar.
Alternatives considered
Users can keep buckets open in tabs or use the path bar, but those approaches
are less convenient for frequently accessed buckets.
