Gets image just once, not a video on executing test.py

When I ran the test.py, it executes just once.
After capturing one image, the cv2 windows stop working and I have to force shutdown the cv2 windows.
Is there a reason it captures just one image and not a video like it is supposed to?

From my guess, frameListener is not getting automatically refreshed. Thus frameListener should have a function clean/clear/refresh which will release the frame manually and hence clear the path for a new frame.

I ran into this same problem. If you're still having problems, the solution for me was as follows. The issue was that frames weren't being released properly in the python wrappers. However, releasing the frames also caused seg faults based on the destructor functions for the capsules being called before the frames could be released. Changing the destructor functions for the capsules for Frame and FrameMap to be NULL, and then manually handling the deleting of the FrameMap in the waitForNewFrame wrapper seems to work. In fact, when releasing frames (which takes a FrameMap), the Frame pointers within the map are deleted already, so the destructor for the Frame capsule isn't necessary and neither is manually dealing with frames (when they've been released properly). The changes in code are below:

Also, add "using libfreenect2::Frame;" to the top of the SyncMultiFrameListener.cpp file. And change the destructors for the function py_SyncMultiFrameListener_waitForNewFrame returned FrameMap capsule and the function py_FrameMap_getFrame returned Frame capsule to NULL.

c-maxey, im still facing with same problem. I changed all the files and still only one image appears and then it gets stuck.
Can you guide me on what procedure I should follow?
