gui: selecting items from "recent" doesn't update UI

If you select any of left/right/calibrations from "recent files" it doesn't update the UI showing your selections until you've selected all 3 separately. It's confusing and makes it seem like your selection didn't work.

Fixed in v0.5.3: selecting a recent item now updates the loaded inputs (#454).
