Objective

Implement the versioned assessment and the approved proposal-first V1 AI experience without making AI a dependency for core productivity features.

Core focus, task, goal, settings, and trusted progress systems are stable.

Checklist

Assessment and profile

• Implement versioned assessment questions and validation.
• Persist and resume interrupted assessment attempts.
• Complete assessment results without overwriting historical attempts.
• Create the basic assessment-based Productivity Profile.

Required AI foundation

• Keep provider credentials on trusted infrastructure.
• Enforce authentication, ownership, AI preference, minimized context, and rate limits.
• Validate structured AI responses and fail safely.
• Implement clear loading, retry, reject, edit, and confirm states.

Required V1 feature

• Implement Plan My Day proposal generation.
• Show exact proposed focus blocks, breaks, and reminders.
• Apply only the exact items explicitly confirmed by the user.
• Make proposal application idempotent and duplicate-safe.

Access and checkpoint

• Implement the first five eligible introductory AI actions.
• Enforce trusted rewarded-ad verification and server-authoritative grants.
• Never show rewarded ads during Focus or True Zen Break.
• Run the 2026-11-15 V1 scope and core-stability checkpoint.
• Include Break Down This Task only if core stability permits.
• Include Review My Day Lite only if time and release quality permit.

Exit rule

Close only when Plan My Day is safe and complete, AI cannot silently change trusted data, and conditional features satisfy the release guardrails.

Definition of done

• Required behavior is implemented and validated.
• Loading, empty, error, persistence, recovery, and accessibility states are covered where relevant.
• Relevant TypeScript, lint, automated, and device checks pass.
• Documentation and docs/CHANGELOG.md are updated when behavior changes.
• No known release-blocking defect remains.
