Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

Fieldly is committed to building an open, respectful, and collaborative environment for everyone. We want contributors, maintainers, and community members to feel welcome regardless of experience level, background, identity, or perspective.

We believe constructive collaboration, respectful communication, and shared learning are essential to building high-quality open-source software.

Expected Behavior

By participating in this project, you agree to:

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are not tolerated within the Fieldly community:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or hateful conduct
  • Personal attacks, insults, or inflammatory comments
  • Trolling, intimidation, or disruptive behavior
  • Publishing private or sensitive information without permission
  • Spam, malicious activity, or intentionally harmful contributions
  • Any conduct that negatively impacts the safety or participation of others

Contribution Standards

Contributors are encouraged to:

  • Follow the existing project structure and coding standards
  • Write clear and maintainable code
  • Use meaningful commit messages
  • Keep pull requests focused and well-documented
  • Maintain respectful communication during reviews and discussions

Enforcement Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing this Code of Conduct and may take appropriate action in response to unacceptable behavior.

Actions may include:

  • Warnings
  • Temporary restrictions
  • Removal of comments or contributions
  • Permanent bans from the project community

depending on the severity of the violation.

Reporting Issues

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it by opening a private discussion or contacting the maintainers directly.

All reports will be reviewed fairly and handled with discretion.
