However, the science infrastructure components need to be related somehow to the science infrastructure via the configurations. For example, there is a 1:M relationship between instruments and apertures or gratings, and this configuration represents a distinct state. So ... is the relation in that one telescope could have either grating or any of a number of apertures sufficient? Does more need to be done?
