Duplicate Downloads Caused by Randomized Episode Folder Structure

Steps to reproduce

1. Download an episode from the library.Download an episode from the library.

File structure is created as:
{library item → episode 1_(random six characters) → episode 1.mp4}

2. Refresh the file library item
3. Observe that the episode is no longer recognized as downloaded.
4. Attempt to play the episode offline — the video requires redownloading.
5. A duplicate file is created, wasting space and bandwidth.

Expected behavior

Episodes should remain recognized as downloaded after a library refresh. The folder structure should remain consistent:

{library item → episode 1 → episode 1.mp4}

Actual behavior

Episodes are placed in folders with random six‑character suffixes.
After refresh, these folders are discarded.
The app fails to recognize previously downloaded episodes, forcing duplicate downloads.

I found the same issue after reading yours, tho I can still play it offline even tho it's not showing that it's downloaded.

okay idk why but it's showing downloaded now, even tho it still got _461fab at the end of it.

Does yours plays? Mine doesn’t. Especially after a few days, a week or 2. I will be using Anikku for now

yeah, it got auto fixed somehow, but even when it didn't show downloaded mark, when I long pressed on download button it was showing path to file in my storage so it was there but just wasn't marked as downloaded properly.

maybe try advanced settings reindex downloads that may cause it to show up. hope it gets fixed soon

I already tried that multiple time, and it doesn't show up nor does it play.

ok it seems to happen to every download now. very valid issue.

temp_fix: rename that end part and remove it.
