From 210e3d00adc47c83ed52fce507a6f18d91a0aa05 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: mhucka Date: Wed, 7 Oct 2026 04:46:35 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Build FQE from sources in CI GitHub runs workflows on VMs with different CPU architecture features. For FQE, pip may end up building from the source wheel on one architecture and then the pip cache can end up restoring those binaries on a runner with a different architecture. This was the cause of the failure in https://github.com/quantumlib/ReCirq/actions/runs/37509342524/job/112436169516?pr=489 Until we figure out a better solution, let's force the `fqe` package to always be built from sources. --- .github/workflows/ci.yaml | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/ci.yaml b/.github/workflows/ci.yaml index 581ed4a2..cf3e8b38 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/ci.yaml +++ b/.github/workflows/ci.yaml @@ -85,7 +85,7 @@ jobs: pip install -r requirements.txt python dev_tools/write-ci-requirements.py \ --relative-cirq-version=${{ matrix.cirq-version }} --all-extras - pip install -r ci-requirements.txt + pip install --no-binary fqe -r ci-requirements.txt pip install --no-deps -e . - name: Test with pytest
