User Story

As a researcher, I want to quickly get an overview of available connected resources in my projects and see which projects have connected resources and their quantity, so I can directly access them to review.

Acceptance Criteria

• Given a user has multiple projects, When they view their project collection/dashboard, Then they can see from each project entry whether that project has connected resources, the quantity of connected resources, and their access status (open vs. restricted).
• Given a project has connected resources, When the user clicks into the project from the collection view, Then they are taken directly to the project's connected resources section.

Requirement ID update

The story originally referenced DATA-R-01, but that ID is already assigned in docs/requirements.md for immunopeptidomics raw-data requirements (and requirement IDs are stable and must not be reused).

A new requirement DATA-R-04: Connected-Dataset Project-Listing Visibility has been appended to docs/requirements.md to cover this story. The relevant acceptance criteria remain unchanged; only the traceability reference has been updated.

Implementation delivered

The production work described in the implementation plan (docs/plans/FEAT-DATSET-09-implementation-plan.md) is now in place:

• docs/requirements.md — new requirement DATA-R-04
• sql/complete-schema.sql + sql/migrations/extend-dataset-visibility-in-project-overview.sql — view extension
• ProjectOverview.java — +4 new fields (connectedDatasetCount, openDatasetCount, restrictedDatasetCount, lastConnectedOn)
• page-area.css + all.css — footer rules + flex-shrink-0 utility
• ProjectCollectionComponent.java — buildDatasetFooter(...) added to ProjectOverviewItem
• Demo view deprecated (prototype retained at test-view/project-listing-datasets, @Profile("development"))

Operator action required: before deploying, apply the migration script sql/migrations/extend-dataset-visibility-in-project-overview.sql to the data_management datasource.
