Contributing to DirRogue

Thank you for your interest in contributing to DirRogue. We welcome community involvement to improve the engine's detection capabilities and tactical efficiency.

Development Guidelines

Code Standards

  • Maintain modular integrity by isolating new detection logic in the core package.
  • Ensure all new features are compatible with both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Follow PEP 8 standards for Python code formatting.
  • Documentation should be precise, tactical, and devoid of non-essential elements.

Submission Process

  1. Fork the repository.
  2. Create a feature branch for your tactical enhancement.
  3. Commit your changes with clear, descriptive messages.
  4. Push to your branch and submit a Pull Request.

Security Considerations

If you discover a security vulnerability within DirRogue itself, please report it privately to the maintainers rather than opening a public issue.

Author Attribution

All contributions will be credited to the respective authors. Major enhancements may be integrated into the core HELLHOUND tactical unit suite.
