spring-boot-samples

Spring boot micro samples, each sample makes use of one specific spring-boot feature or a java library within spring boot framework.

• Basic REST service

• Writing tests for REST endpoints

• Inputs validation, validation of requests in REST endpoints

• Tests with mocks for 3rd party dependencies

• Using lombok

• Async processing

• REST client using spring cloud feign

• REST client using spring cloud hystrix circuit breaker

• Encryption of property sources using jasypt (properties, json, yaml...)

• Use the Spring Framework code format conventions. If you use Eclipse you can import formatter settings using the eclipse-code-formatter.xml file from the Spring Cloud Build project. If using IntelliJ, you can use the Eclipse Code Formatter Plugin to import the same file.
