I took a closer look at this issue. My current understanding is that it is not specific to two-line text or Drawnix's text-box sizing. The clipping likely originates in Plait's export pipeline, where the text layout bounds are also used as the <foreignObject> painting and clipping bounds.

Even if we add a few extra pixels to the exported text height, that would only be a temporary workaround for the current reproduction. It does not guarantee correct results for longer multiline text and may fail again with different fonts, font sizes, export ratios, or browsers.

I think this should be addressed properly in Plait's export layer. I plan to investigate an upstream fix first and then bring the verified solution back to Drawnix.
