kitFramework

The kitFramework extends existing Content Management Systems.

For Developers and Web designers the kitFramework

  • provide a modern PHP 5.3 framework, based on Silex/Symfony
  • support different Content Management Systems
  • enable the writing of PHP 5.3 code independent from the CMS API
  • enable the creation of small snippets, full featured extensions or complex applications
  • enable the creation of templates and designs independent from the CMS
  • provide a always up-to-date catalog with the license model you need.

For Webmasters and Power users the kitFramework

  • enable the browsing of extensions and applications within the back end administration
  • enable a one-click selection and installation of extensions and applications
  • enable the access to kitCommands within any editor of the CMS to access kitFramework extensions and applications.

Requirements

  • PHP 5.3.3 at minimum
  • cURL support enabled

Installation

The kitFramework will be installed by a Add-on for the parent Content Management System.
