OpenLDAP does not work; No logs

I followed the instructions and put the files in /include/plugins/multi-ldap.

After setting up configs in the frontend I cannot get anything to work, but allas pressing "check connection" it says successfull.

Note that I can use the normal os-ticket auth-ldap plugin to authenticate openldap-users without issue.

I might just have trouble using a correct configuration, since the documentation isn't that verbose.
Am I supposed to use this plugin with auth-ldap? Do I disable auth-ldap?
I also seem to be lacking any and all forms of logging, I have enabled verbose logging for my instance and I get zero logs, neither can I seem to find any of the pages of the screenshots like lookup and the cn-field binding screen

Alright I have checked the code and it seems both those issues stem from active directory being hardcoded, just changing all the checks to reverse and changing sambaccountname to UID seem to make it work

My "fix" was simply hardcoding, since we ONLY use openldap.
generally, if there was a check like "if type = active directory" I just put a ! before the expression so it instead uses ldap code.
It seems openldap would just work if you enable the toggle between AD and Openldap again

Oh, and as mentioned above, when servertype=openldap the ldap-bind must use uid=[username], not SambaAccountName=[username]
