I have migrate the addons into native homeassistant component, do you think about it?

This add-on is based on the SDK, and it's not possible to run as custom component. The SDK doesnt work on Alpine , so it will never work... Those other integrations are doing isapi alert stream. But doorbells don't use it for events...

Ah. Your component is also using SDK,?I never got it to work with Alpine, only Debian/Ubuntu...

Yes, I use some of your code to run sdk on HA, because in fact docker is also use the same kernel in system, so I think it will work native

So you actually do a login on port 8000?
The SDK never worked for me on HA , since HA is using Alpine , and the SDK wasnt compiled for it

You are right, on HA OS, it will not work, I will be continue to check why this is happen. It can be use on non supervisor mode.

Found the way to fix it:
sudo apt install patchelf
cd custom_components/hikvision_next/sdk/libs/lib-amd64
patchelf --set-rpath '$ORIGIN' libssl.so

Aha , very interesting! This way it can be indeed a component, but it will be a lot of work for me to convert it to an component... My case it will work also for non HA users, like openhab, MQTT, docker users...

I see you have an PR open, maybe you can also change the .so file for aarch64 lib, so it can also work for RPI users

@magicbear , do you also know if there is such an isapi/SDK command to simulate a call from an outdoor station OR to make the indoor station ring , like a chime?

you may try use SDK to make a call from center, use function : NET_DVR_SendRemoteConfig(handle, ENUM_VIDEO_INTERCOM_SEND_DATA, ...
