Interested whether anyone looked into newer ChartJS versions

I see that the 4.4.x line of ChartJS is now up to 4.4.9, and the latest version line is 4.5. I'd imagine the mods from 4.4.1 used currently in Charba to 4.4.9 may not be too severe. Possibly more extension from 4.5 onwards. Would be interested if anyone has already looked into this area.

@ascertrobw thank you for feedback. I have seen the evolution of Chart.js but I didn't have time to keep Charba aligned with those new versions, at the moment. I will do my best.

There is also new chartjs-plugin-annotation version to include it (wher some new my features are published and I should include in Charba as well, like doughnutLabel type).

Awesome - thanks. Charba is working great on the existing version, so there's no specific feature or bug that prompted this. Just more a thought of keeping up to date with the underlying JS release.
