Add (at least) a library

This one is completely optional, but I think the app is too good for bytebeats, really, very good work, but it needs at least a library where all of these bytebeats are stored. Not all, just the good ones, like dollchan.net but for this app, this would be made using a different database, and that's it. It is completely fine if you do not do do this now, but I see this is a good feature for the future.

@Two2Fall thanks! I'm not sure I understand the use case. Do you mean there should be a manually curated bytebeat library? Or do you mean you want users to be able to access the raw data?

Hi again! I mean, for this you would need to add moderators and that stuff but when you finish doing this, I think it would be time do to this. I'm saying this for new users, for example, this may not affect now (because there is not a lot of bytebeats), but on the future, there it will be necesary to add a library collecting all the good bytebeats to make the new users see what did the community have created.

Yes, I'll definitively think about it. My current thought is to let community curate posts with playlists, and then select featured playlists that would be shown on home page instead of the "Trending posts" section.

I think that's better than just me (or moderators) choosing which posts should be featured because:

• taste is really personal.
• it encourages some creators to beg for being featured which is not a good thing in my opinion.

What do you think about this proposal?

The proposal it's completely good, very simple in my opinion, but the feature posts might be chosen by the moderators, but sometimes it would be kind of strange if the moderators have a strange taste of music. So we can fix this using polls, but for that you will need to program polls itself, which I don't think they're that complicated, this makes the library entries enter to the library itself not by one single opinion, they can enter now by using the community opinion.

And also, the beg for being featured is kind of normal, although I can do something there: rules for submission. For example:

• Account older than one week (or less, you decide it).
• Account alive (not dead).
• Account posting bytebeats normally (not like one in a month, maybe receive the maximum of two weeks as an example).
• But also not like one per minute (that would erase bots if there it is)
• Or another stuff (you decide this).

This makes the hall of fame to have more uses, because if there is a top pick bytebeat on the web, it can be added into the library if it sounds pretty well or if the community likes it and wants it on the library. That would make the community pretty greater with this!
