Dreaming Sarah has a very basic GPU commands than Astro Bot, Demons Souls etc. but this is a big step for emulator.

When will Sharpemu receive it's first Linux release?

SharpEmu is still in a very early stage, so there is a lot of experimental and unused code that could be considered "junk" for now. Even have a fork that tries to clean these up. In addition, the platform specific code currently targets Windows only.

Once the emulator reaches a more mature state, I plan to start working on Linux and macOS support. Additional platforms are definitely on the roadmap, but right now the focus is on getting the core emulator working properly.

As more contributors join the project, development will naturally move faster. While the contributor count may seem small(me) at the moment, we're already in contact with several people through email and other channels.

I like to see a PS5 emulator actually running a game for the first time, keep up the great work!
