Mysterious transparent occupier

Hi all! I just started to use Calendr and love it! A small minor issue that annoyed me is that there will be such a transparent occupier on the menu bar when Calendr activated. I'm sure it's caused by Calendr as I tried to remove it by dragging out it of the menu bar and time component also disappear. I'm wondering if anyone knows how to remove it. Thanks!

Try to play with the toggles to hide date/icon/next event in the app's preferences. I've heard that it sometimes fixes these problems.

Seems like it doesn't work for me :(

That's so weird. It is also semi-opaque, which doesn't make any sense.
Does it disappear when you hide next events?

Nah. I never turned it on except trying to turn on/off all options when trying to fix the problem. All features I used are shown below
