Option for "Next event" to show only upcoming events instead of the current one #442

That doesn't even need an option. It makes total sense. Perhaps we could show the next event if it's in the next 30min. |

I wouldn't show only the upcoming event, as you said, because if you are a few minutes late for the meeting, you would think it never happened. |

Thanks for the reply. It’s something worth thinking about. I think the reason this specific example case happens because there is no meeting between the current item’s end time (10:30) and the next meeting’s start time (11:00). The upcoming 11:00 meeting does appear at 10:31 and on, of course. I haven’t encountered any issues during times where I have back to back meetings. Only when my calendar has free gaps in it. |

@pakerwreah I haven’t run into any issues in the last week. Thanks for taking the time to check it out. We can close this one! |

Imagine it is now 10:28 and I have a meeting at 11:00. Currently, Calendr me the current calendar event in the Menu Bar, in this case that's "Mail", as you can see in the screenshot. However I would like Calendr to show me the next upcoming meeting instead, the one at 11:00.
I've tried some settings but this doesn't seem possible at the moment. Could this be an idea for a new option?
Thanks!
