I’m interested. I’m learning Turbo Pascal after a break from it of 30 something years. Be interesting to see how it all connects. |

Hi all, While I was building a TTY Gateway tool for the IMSAI 8080esp, I ended up mapping out all of those APIs, so I put together a small cookbook from my notes. It lists every HTTP endpoint and WebSocket channel (system info, disk mount/eject, the image library, tapes, config files, manuals, the /tty console, the /cpa front panel, etc.), and for each one it gives two ready-to-run examples: one in Python and one with curl or plain JavaScript. Most of it has been tested live against a real device. Here it is: https://github.com/ElectricDream/imsai8080esp32-api-webservices-cookbook Hope it helps people have some fun scripting the machine. Feedback and corrections welcome. |
Uh oh!

I’ve started writing some code to allow me to make API calls to HTTP endpoints from my IMSAI. I’m curious as to whether or not others would be interested in this code. I’ll almost certainly push it to GitHub regardless, but if there is significant interest I would take the time to write the code more carefully and with decent documentation.
This comes from my desire to make my IMSAI more actively useful. Of course, I don’t need it to any anything, but I’d rather have it doing something quasi-useful rather than just taking up shelf space. :)
